Student athletes and teams registered in the current spring trap shooting season for each state high school clay target league in the USA High School Clay Target League are qualified to participate. Qualifying student athletes and teams must meet or exceed:
- Shooting performance requirements determined by the regular season’s overall average, AND
- Extracurricular activity participation eligibility requirements as determined by their school.
Year-end season average calculations are complete on 5/25/19. Student athletes are required to compete and submit scores in all competition weeks to qualify for registration.
The National Championship serves to recognize and honor the top student athletes participating in the USA High School Clay Target League. Therefore, the highest individual and team scoring averages will receive priority registration privileges.
